THE NEXT INSTAGRAM?
Flixel and Cinegram are two apps very similiar fighting for the legacy of instagram on the web.
My first impression was to read The Daily Prophet from Harry Potter Universe, these animated images hypnotized me through difference and repetition.
Both apps are very easy to use and share, both apps work on the concept of photography but changing it in something deep bounded to the web 2.0 world: you need a device to bring the images to life otherwise no magic happens.
Someone said that they bring photography to the next level but I disagree: it’s something different, it’s rather a step aside toward a missing link between photografy and cinema and this is to discover.
A sort of microshort films in the age of silent movies.
